Why This Set Performs Better

"The right pan for every meal. Both built to outlast the kitchen they live in."

Most cast iron leaves the foundry rough — machine-cast, left unfinished, and sold with the assumption that you will work the surface into shape yourself. REINCAST takes a different approach. Every skillet in the Duo Set is hand-polished at the foundry, removing surface porosity and creating a cooking plane that builds seasoning faster, releases food more cleanly, and improves with every use. Both pans share the same uncompromising production standard. The only difference is scale.

  • 30 cm Chef's Skillet — the workhorse of the set. Sized for family portions, full-protein sears, stovetop-to-oven roasting, and cornbread baked at the table.
  • 20 cm Personal Skillet — the precision piece. Ideal for two eggs, a single sauce, solo portions, and recipes that reward a smaller, more controlled surface.
  • Identical construction, different scale — single-pour solid iron, hand-polished interior, dual pour spouts, and integrated assist handle on both pans.
  • Both improve with age — unlike coated pans that degrade, every REINCAST skillet develops a deeper, more resilient cooking surface the more it is used.
Health & Safety

"No coatings. No compromise. On either pan."

The modern cookware industry relies heavily on synthetic non-stick coatings — materials that, under heat stress, can degrade and release compounds into food and air. Neither pan in the REINCAST Duo Set contains any of them. The cooking surface on both skillets is raw, polished iron. Nothing more.

  • Zero synthetic coatings — no PTFE, no PFOA, no ceramic sprays on either skillet. What you cook on is pure iron, used safely for centuries.
  • No chemical seasoning agents — both pans are pre-seasoned with a single food-grade natural oil, heat-bonded to the iron surface before they ship.
  • Trace iron enrichment — cooking with well-seasoned cast iron contributes small, beneficial amounts of dietary iron to food. No synthetic pan can offer the same.
  • Safe at any temperature — neither pan will off-gas, blister, or degrade under high heat. Both are oven-safe without upper temperature limits.
Heat & Versatility

"Heat that holds. The 30 cm commands the stove. The 20 cm gives you precision."

Cast iron retains heat at a level that thinner pans cannot match. Once either REINCAST skillet reaches temperature, it maintains an even, consistent cooking surface — whether searing at full heat or finishing low and slow. Both move from stove to oven without a second thought. Used together, the Duo Set covers every cooking scenario in a single household.

  • Exceptional heat retention on both — the mass of the iron holds temperature steady when cold food hits the surface, preventing the drops that cause steaming instead of searing.
  • Compatible with all heat sources — gas, electric, induction, ceramic, halogen, open flame, campfire, and oven. The same applies to both skillets.
  • Oven-safe without limit — no plastic handles, no synthetic coatings. Both pans can go directly into a 500°F oven or under a broiler without risk.
  • 30 cm: searing, roasting, frying, baking — the larger surface handles a full dinner. A ribeye, a frittata, a cast iron focaccia.
  • 20 cm: eggs, sauces, reductions, desserts — the smaller surface gives you control when precision is what the dish demands.
Design & Control

"Precision is not an accident. It is a choice made at the foundry — for both sizes."

REINCAST is designed with the geometry of cooking in mind. The handle angle, the pour spout placement, the lip of the rim — each detail exists to reduce friction between cook and pan. Both pans in the Duo Set share the same design DNA; the 20 cm is not a simplified version of the 30 cm. It is a fully considered skillet in its own right.

  • Dual pour spouts on both — positioned on opposite sides of the rim for clean, controlled pouring of fats and liquids in either direction.
  • Ergonomic handle angle — cast at a precise upward angle for balanced lifting and a natural grip, reducing wrist strain on stove-to-oven transfers.
  • Assist handle on the 30 cm — a secondary grip on the far side allows two-handed control when moving a full, heavy pan safely.
  • Flat, stable cooking base on both — precision-leveled at the foundry to ensure full contact with flat-top and induction surfaces, eliminating hot spots from warped pans.

Care Guide

"Cast iron does not ask for much. What it asks for, it returns tenfold. Both pans."

REINCAST is designed to simplify ownership. No special products required. No complicated routines. The same simple care habits apply to both the 30 cm and the 20 cm — the only adjustment is scale.

  • After each use — rinse with warm water while still warm. Use a stiff brush or pan scraper to remove food residue. Avoid prolonged soaking on either pan.
  • Drying — dry thoroughly with a cloth immediately after rinsing, then place briefly over low heat to evaporate any remaining moisture. This applies to both.
  • Seasoning maintenance — apply a very thin layer of natural oil to the interior while still warm. Wipe away excess until the surface appears matte, not wet.
  • Soap — a small amount of mild dish soap used occasionally will not harm a well-seasoned pan. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive scrubbers.
  • Storage — store in a dry environment. When stacking the two pans together, always place a cloth or paper towel between them to protect both surfaces.
  • If rust appears — surface oxidation, not damage. Scrub with steel wool, rinse, dry fully, and re-season in a 230°C oven for one hour.

Excellent pan, but did require a replacement.

Works great. Made a fantastic steak on it that was better than all of our local steakhouses. Had to replace the first one I got because it had a concave bottom and didn't sit flat. This is a known, possible defect. Quick and easy replacement.

Quality Pan!

My wife and I have about 6 cast iron pans and this one is always our go-to for the last 2 years. Great quality build that you won't find these days on a shelf in a store.

Smooth Seasoning Over Time, Rock-Solid on Gas and Induction

I’ve mainly been using Lodge and Korean-made cast iron, and I finally picked up this one that I’d been considering for a while when I found a good deal. The factory pre-seasoning does wear off fairly quickly at first, but after using it a few times, it develops a beautifully smooth, personal seasoning layer. It just keeps getting better with use.I mostly cook on a gas cooktop, and I’ve also used it on induction with no wobbling at all, which is a big plus. The handle and helper handle are generously sized and very comfortable—one of my favorite features. This is the kind of pan you buy once and use for years, so I definitely recommend it.

Great improvement over known design.

Although not the cheapest cast iron skillet, it feels worth the cost. It is well made, light weight for cast iron, has a very smooth surface and oddly you do not need a mitt to hold onto the handle when hot. Overall it is a well thought out design and execution on a century old design. These are a once in a lifetime purchases so you will enjoy the improvements for decades to come.

Good pan

This is an excellent pan. Was a little disappointed with the seasoning as it came. Had to strip with steel wool and redo the seasoning. After doing this it is an excellent cooker.

NOICE!!!

Pricey, but worth it. It's like cooking on a griddle. Wash it with detergent and a fine chain mail wash rag until it's smooth. High walls and HUGE handles make it worth the weight. It is very heavy, but deal with it. This thing will last forever.

Great cast Iron

We have had our duo for a bit now and its just wonderful in every way. The handle stays significantly cooler than any of our other pans. Its well made and we use it to cook almost every meal in.

Great cast iron pan

The cast iron skillet is a standout in the world of cast iron cookware. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this was a high-quality piece. The sleek, polished cooking surface is a game-changer—it’s incredibly smooth, making it more naturally non-stick compared to traditional rough-surfaced cast iron. This also makes cleaning much easier, as food doesn’t cling as stubbornly. The design is both functional and elegant. The handle is longer than most, which not only provides better leverage but also stays cooler for longer when cooking on the stovetop. The flared sides and curved lip are fantastic additions, allowing for easy pouring without spills—a small detail that makes a big difference. In terms of performance, it heats evenly and retains heat exceptionally well, just as you’d expect from good cast iron. It’s perfect for everything from searing steaks to frying eggs or baking cornbread. Once properly seasoned, it performs like a dream, and the seasoning only improves with use. While it is a bit heavier than some other options, I consider this a fair trade-off for its durability and superior cooking performance. The extra weight feels solid and sturdy in your hands, reassuring you that this is a pan that will last a lifetime.Overall, the -inch skillet combines modern innovation with the timeless reliability of cast iron. It’s not just a pan—it’s an investment in better cooking. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality cookware!

Not even BREAKFAST can bring Death to this pan!!!

The seasoning on this is only going to get better with time, and not "7-10 years till it's a great pan time" like the cheaper brand that I've always bought and loved (and have a large collection of!) but like, this is only going to take a couple months for the seasoning to be really good. That's how amazingly well made these cast iron pans are. Super smooth cooking surface, lighter weight than my other-brand 12 inch skillet, the size feels amazing, and I KNOW that I can trust this brand since they perform several purity tests throughout their making process to ensure it's safe from heavy metals. You've earned my trust and I am definitely going to be getting all your pans . Already preordered another for this one on your website. And I'm going to be sharing your brand with my family!!

To use it is to love it!

It comes with a light beginning season but if really understand cast iron you know that a little work is required for a trade off of a lifelong cooking tool. I heated it at 300 degrees for 10 minutes then coated entirely with grape seed oil then try to wipe it back off to leave only a fine layer. Then turn your oven on to 480 degrees and leave the skillet in for one hour then allow to cool completely. Repeat this 3 times then your skillet is ready to begin its life. After cooking, the skillet should be warmed to medium heat and cleaned with hot running water using a sponge, or wood or plastic scraper. When cleaned, towel dry then put on stove top for 2 minutes on medium heat to throughly dry. Then while still warm, lightly recoat with grape seed oil then again with with a dry rag to remove excess leaving only a microscopic layer. A well seasoned cast iron skillet takes about 100-150 times to become fully seasoned. I never mind the steps and find it to be a labor of love and enjoy watching the slow process take shape!! Food always tastes better in cast iron. Remember, always add a touch of oil like olive oil before cooking and if meat sticks slightly, allow it to continue cooking and it will naturally release. Most things cook best from medium to medium high. Enjoy the process!!!

Can’t cook without it

The MVP of my kitchen. I purchased this pan over a year ago and we use it so often we don’t even put it away after cleaning it — it lives on the stovetop manifesting biscuits, steak, pancakes, stove-to-oven bakes, you name it. My children will fight over this one day. Could not be happier with it.

High End Quality, Reasonable Price

This is probably the cheapest quality smooth surface cast iron pan out there. Great quality is eye catching and can be an everyday pan. It is a little on the heavy side but that's to be expected with cast iron. I use it almost daily and sometimes multiple meals in a day.

Beautiful pan

This is an incredible quality product. It’s an upgrade from my lodge. Ten times better. It’s perfectly sized for a large rib eye and extremely versatile. No rusting so far and requires little to no seasoning.

I have read a lot about steaks & how to cook them. Got really interested when I learned steak & chips is the number one lunch patrons ordered in Parisian cafes.Lancaster make one of the best cast iron pans on the planet, according to America’s Test Kitchen. ATK also mentioned a cast iron skillet is ideal for cooking steak. They were right. This particular skillet is the business.

First impressions are high, I like it.

The pan feels great in hand, I like the handle. It heats up quickly and does feel noticably lighter than my comparable 10" from another company. The cooking surface is nice and smooth as advertised. I'm happy with my purchase.I also appreciated the very fast shiping. I ordered it on Friday and it arrived on Monday.
