The Good Stuff
Why You'll Never Go Back

"Once you cook on cast iron, every other pan feels like a toy."

This 26 cm skillet is about to earn a permanent spot on your stove. It's preseasoned, ready straight out of the box, and — here's the part people don't expect — it actually gets better the more you use it. No coating to scratch off. No non-stick that gives up after a year. Just solid iron doing its thing, getting smoother and more non-stick with every cook.

  • One solid piece of iron — no welds, no glued-on handles, no weak spots. Cast in a single pour from base to tip.
  • Preseasoned with vegetable oil — heat-bonded at the foundry. Crack it open and start cooking. No seasoning ritual needed on day one.
  • Gets better with every use — each cook builds another layer of natural non-stick. Give it six months and it'll release food like you've never seen.
  • Strong cast iron handle — not bolted on, not screwed in. Cast as part of the pan. It will never wobble, loosen, or let you down mid-transfer.
Clean Cooking, Actually

"No PTFE. No PFOA. No nonsense. Just iron — the way it's been for centuries."

Most non-stick pans are coated in synthetic materials that, when overheated, start breaking down and releasing compounds you really don't want near your food. This pan has none of that. The cooking surface is raw iron, seasoned with food-grade vegetable oil. That's it. That's the whole ingredient list.

  • Zero synthetic coatings — no PTFE, no PFOA, no ceramic sprays. The cooking surface is pure iron and nothing else.
  • Seasoned the old-fashioned way — natural vegetable oil, heat-bonded before shipping. Healthy from the first use, no exceptions.
  • A bonus you didn't ask for — well-seasoned cast iron releases a small, beneficial amount of dietary iron into food. A genuine nutritional perk of cooking on real iron.
  • Can't overheat it into danger — no coating means no coating to fail. Crank the heat as high as you like. It handles it. You're safe either way.
Heat Like You've Never Felt

"It holds heat the way a good pan should — like it means it."

Here's why cast iron makes better food: when cold ingredients hit a hot surface, thin pans lose heat fast — and the food starts steaming instead of searing. Not this pan. The mass of the iron holds temperature steady across the full 26 cm surface, which means a proper crust on your steak, even browning on your vegetables, and a skillet that's still hot when you bring it to the table.

  • Holds heat like a furnace — temperature stays steady when cold food hits the surface. Sear properly, across the whole pan, every time.
  • Works on everything — gas, electric, induction, ceramic, halogen, open flame, campfire, and oven. No restrictions, no adapters needed.
  • Oven-safe, full stop — no plastic parts, no synthetic coatings. Slide it straight into a high-heat oven or under the broiler. It does not care.
  • More useful than it looks — fry, bake, roast, barbecue, teppanyaki. One 26 cm skillet covers more techniques than most people's entire pan collection.

How to Look After It

"Rinse it. Dry it. Give it a little oil. That's genuinely all there is to it."

Cast iron care sounds complicated because people make it sound complicated. It isn't. A quick rinse, a dry, and a thin wipe of oil — that's the whole routine. Do that and this pan will outlast you. Skip it and it will remind you with a little surface rust. Which, by the way, is totally fixable in ten minutes.

  • After cooking — rinse with warm water while the pan is still warm. A stiff brush or scraper lifts any residue. No soaking — ever.
  • Dry it properly — towel dry immediately, then a minute on low heat to chase off any last moisture. Cast iron and water are not best friends long-term.
  • A little oil goes a long way — while still warm, rub a thin layer of any cooking oil across the interior. Wipe away the excess until it looks matte, not greasy.
  • Soap is fine, actually — a small squeeze of mild dish soap now and then will not ruin a well-seasoned pan. Just don't soak it or scrub it aggressively every day.
  • Rust? Easy fix — scrub it off with steel wool, rinse, dry fully, and re-season in a 230°C oven for an hour. The pan is fully recoverable. Always.

A Joy to Use

The 6 " pan is just the right size, cooks an egg quickly in a pre- warmed pan & maintains heat due to thickness of the pan. It is a welcome addition to my cast iron collection. It is worth the money and a joy to use.

The Cooke ware you need

Best value/money product. For outdoor life or indoor, the quality of this product is amazing. I used in in my electric grill for Ku Provolone cheese and it melted and created a crust without sticking the cheese to the pan. Seems basic but 99% of other product fail.

Cute AND Convenient

These skillets are PERFECT. They make the most adorable presentation for individual servings of roasted side dishes. The handle covers are a great touch. I pull these out for all kinds of delicious dishes, and it keeps your food hot as you enjoy the meal. Definitely buying more as gifts and such.

Just the right size for one serving

I was looking for a pan to make a single-serve pizza. When it arrived I was sure it was too tiny, but it turned out just fine. Nice heavy skillet, easy to season. Will use this often now.

Perfect for eggs!

I used it to make my eggs in it and display it on a charcuterie board! Adds a really cool surge this look! Well worth the buy! Everyone loved it!

It’s nice but it is small..

It seems a bit smaller than expected. But the quality seems good. I haven’t used it yet, but it was a well seasoned cast iron pan that may be a little bit smaller than 6”. See pic to get an idea. I won’t break out the tape measure though as it is what it is and I’ll still keep it.

Cute AND Convenient

These itty bitty skillets are PERFECT. They make the most adorable presentation for individual servings of roasted side dishes. The handle covers are a great touch. Great For Cooking Sausage Links or a Large Single Egg

A single man's new best friend. This cast iron skillet gives great flavor for up to four sausage links cooked in a toaster oven. At 6.5 inches measured from spout to spout, this surface area is perfect for cooking a single large sized scrambled egg on the stovetop. I'm going to try baking a couple of chicken legs as well as a fish fillet topped with breadcrumbs in the toaster oven with it as well.

High quality, pre seasoned

I needed an oven safe cast iron skillet and i needed one that was pre seasoned because i don't know how to do that and this was perfect. It's a great size and weight for every day use - not that i use mine every day but i could do it if i needed to. It's a good bit heavier than my ceramic cookware - there's an extra handle for a reason- but it can go in the oven directly and it isn't as susceptible to damage from metal utensils. I love it, and i hope to get lots of use out of it. Make sure to save and follow the care instructions!

Needs a longer handle

I like the quality and size of the skillet. However, the handle is on the short side and even though it came with a very nice padded handle cover, it is not very easy to pick up and move because of the length.

Its cast iron, nothing more needs to be said.

Ive only cooked in cast iron a few times, but liked it enough to buy my own. First time purchase and it is my go to for cooking now. Only thing i would change is the handle length. Handle is too short to comfortably hold and lift the skillet.

Great skillet

This is a great skillet; seasoned out of the box but I also seasoned it a few more times before using. It’s easy to clean and cooks well as expected. I also didn’t find a chainmail or anything like that was needed to scrub it. Just a sponge is fine.

Great Christmas Gift!!

I was such a lost of what to get my brother in law for a Christmas gift and glad I asked my sister in law for advice before purchasing the usual gift card. I really want him to get a present he can unwrap with the rest of the family this year instead of just a card with a gift card in it. My sister in law was so supervised when she saw it and said he was going to love it!!!! Im going to purchase more to give as more gifts!! Who wants one??

Good value for money

I was a little disappointed in size. I know it said 6 inches but it seemed smaller. I have also been struggling with the roughness of the inside. I do scour it as u was advised that this would help. I guess it needs more time. I love the handle that came with it. It's a great little skillet but I need to break it in more.

Pan is excellent - pot holder that comes with it not so much

The pan is well constructed and cooks very well. The pot holder edges melted at first use so I'm not sure what they designed the pot holder to withstand but you should expect to need a separate holding piece after a few uses.

Made In USA

This was the only American made iron skillet. It’s performing as expected. It was more expensive but sending my dollars for a skillet from China that is considering sending weapons to Russia to invade Ukraine was not an option anymore.

Very good skillet.

I only gave 4 stars as I am old enough to have used the Old Wagner's and Griswold's as well as my parent did growing up. Those Black iron skillets in my youth had a machined cooking surface and never anything stuck But because of manufacturing cost they don't do that any more, How ever I did find that this Brand was much better than my experience with Lodge. So in the prospective of Cast iron skillets today I put this one as Number one.

The handle is on the small side.

So my crazy ex-wife wanted the pan I currently had even though she had originally said I could have it. So I needed another one. It was some signature model from Emril *BAM* - you know that tv chef dude. It was super thick iron construction and had a big beefy handle. This one is an acceptable alternative. Except they went kinda wimpy on the handle. It's nowhere near as substantial as my previous one. But it is well put together and "pre-seasoned" nicely. So its a great alternative.Though... I really miss my old pan (not the ex)

Textured cooking surface not mentioned in description nor evident in photos

So far, after a dozen or so uses, this has been a terrific pan. One bit worth noting, though, is that the cooking surface has a slight pebbly texture. We also have a Lodge cast iron skillet, with a very smooth cooking surface. The upshot is that some foods -- sunny-side up eggs, e.g. -- require more oil for cooking to ensure smooth removal from the pan, in my experience. Also, the extra small handle on the side opposite the main handle makes it "just that much easier" to lift the skillet high enough to inflict deadly blunt-force trauma on someone, should the need occur.

Great quality, short handle

I received this as a Christmas gift. Love the quality and overall durability. My only issue is how small the handle is. These are not meant for anyone with larger hands. The loop handle is too small for my husband to fit his hand in and the regular handle is just very short.

Perfect size.

Thanks to the Amazon shopper who returned this item to the warehouse. Seems you didn't use it and it arrived in perfect condition. Just the box was a little torn up. This got me a good deal!Anyhow, I left 4 stars mainly because I haven't cooked with it yet. Also, nowhere does it say it's American made but is "designed" in US. hmm. It's heavy folks, and the surface is course from the seasoning process. When I get to using this good looking 12" pan, ill update this review.

A Solid Skillet That Earns Its Keep

Decent skillet. Not the cast-iron of dreams, but a solid one nonetheless. Got it for my mother, and she’s quite happy with it. It did stick a bit the first time, but once it settled, it did the job well. Seems like one of those things that just gets better with time. A little patience, a little heat, and it becomes exactly what it promises: sturdy, well-built, and reliable.

Prepped

Looks good but you said it was preseasoned. It didn’t look like it was preseasoned to me but I’m old and me eyes aren’t as good as they once were.
