01 Why This Pan Performs Better The science behind a surface most pans never achieve

"Not every pan deserves a place on your stove. This one earns it."

Most cast iron is rough. Machine-cast, left unfinished, and sold with the expectation that you'll fix it yourself over years of use. REINCAST takes a different approach. Each skillet is hand-polished at the foundry — a process that removes surface porosity and creates a cooking plane that builds seasoning faster, releases food more cleanly, and improves with every use.

  • Hand-polished interior surface — eliminates the rough texture common to mass-produced cast iron, allowing seasoning layers to bond uniformly and build a natural, durable patina over time.
  • Pre-seasoned with 100% natural oil — no synthetic coatings, no chemical primers. The first seasoning layer is applied at high temperature before the pan leaves the foundry, arriving ready to cook.
  • Solid single-pour construction — no seams, no welds, no weak points. Cast as a single piece of iron, delivering structural integrity that clad cookware cannot match.
  • Improves with age — unlike coated pans that degrade, REINCAST develops a deeper, more resilient cooking surface the more it is used. A well-used skillet after ten years outperforms a new one.
02 Health & Safety What is not in this pan matters as much as what is

"No coatings. No compromise."

The modern cookware industry relies heavily on synthetic non-stick coatings — materials that, under heat stress, can degrade and release compounds into food and air. REINCAST contains none of them. The cooking surface is raw, polished iron. Nothing more.

  • Zero synthetic coatings — no PTFE, no PFOA, no ceramic sprays. What you cook on is pure iron, which has been used safely for centuries.
  • No chemical seasoning agents — the pre-seasoning is applied using a single food-grade natural oil, heat-bonded to the iron surface before it ships.
  • Trace iron enrichment — cooking with well-seasoned cast iron can contribute small, beneficial amounts of dietary iron to food — a quality no synthetic pan can offer.
  • Safe at any temperature — the pan will not off-gas, blister, or degrade under high heat. It is oven-safe without upper temperature limits.
03 Heat & Versatility One pan. Every heat source. Every technique.

"Heat that holds. Results you can taste."

Cast iron retains heat at a level that thinner pans physically cannot. Once REINCAST reaches temperature, it maintains an even, consistent cooking surface — whether you are searing at high heat or finishing low and slow. It moves from stove to oven without a second thought.

  • Exceptional heat retention — the mass of the iron holds temperature steady even when cold food hits the surface, preventing the temperature drops that cause steaming instead of searing.
  • Compatible with all heat sources — gas, electric, induction, ceramic, halogen, open flame, campfire, and oven. One pan for every environment.
  • Oven-safe without limit — no plastic handles, no synthetic coatings. REINCAST can be placed directly in a 500°F oven or under a broiler without risk.
  • Ideal for searing, baking, roasting, frying — the skillet performs equally across techniques, from a perfect crust on steak to a cast iron cornbread baked at the table.
04 Design & Control Considered in every detail. Effortless in every use.

"Precision is not an accident. It is a choice made at the foundry."

REINCAST is designed with the geometry of cooking in mind. The handle angle, the pour spout placement, the lip of the rim — each detail exists to reduce friction between cook and pan, allowing full attention on the food.

  • Dual pour spouts — positioned on opposite sides of the rim to allow clean, controlled pouring of fats and liquids in either direction without mess.
  • Ergonomic handle angle — cast at a precise upward angle for balanced lifting and a natural grip, reducing wrist strain during transfer from stove to oven.
  • Assist handle opposite — a secondary grip on the far side allows two-handed control when moving a full, heavy pan safely.
  • Flat, stable cooking base — precision-leveled at the foundry to ensure full contact with flat-top and induction surfaces, eliminating hot spots caused by warped pans.
  • 30 cm diameter — a versatile size for everyday cooking, large enough for a full meal and refined enough for precise technique.

06 Care Guide A few simple rituals. A lifetime of performance.

"Cast iron does not ask for much. What it asks for, it returns tenfold."

REINCAST is designed to simplify ownership. No special products required. No complicated routines. A few consistent habits after each use are all the pan will ever need.

  • After each use — rinse with warm water while still warm. Use a stiff brush or pan scraper to remove food residue. Avoid prolonged soaking.
  • Drying — dry thoroughly with a cloth immediately after rinsing, then place briefly over low heat on the stove to evaporate any remaining moisture.
  • Seasoning maintenance — apply a very thin layer of natural oil (flaxseed, grapeseed, or vegetable) to the interior surface while still warm. Wipe away excess until the surface appears matte, not wet.
  • Soap — a small amount of mild dish soap used occasionally will not harm a well-seasoned REINCAST. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive scrubbers.
  • Storage — store in a dry environment. If stacking with other cookware, place a cloth or paper towel between pans to protect the surface.
  • If rust appears — this is surface oxidation, not damage. Scrub with steel wool, rinse, dry fully, and re-season in a 450°F oven for one hour. The pan is restored.

Great cast iron skillet

I love my new cast iron skillet. It came pre-seasoned, but I continued the seasoning process with Crisbee. It cooks very well and I look forward to cooking my eggs every morning. If your food is sticking, it's your technique, not the stargazer pan. Pre-heat, oil pan, cook on lower heat than you are accustomed to, and cook patiently. Cooking with cast iron is not a race or hurried process. Enjoy your new cast iron skillet.

Great to cook in, seasons well, and cleaning only takes a few minutes

I had a thin Chinese CI before Thad didn’t hold the heat. This is what I really needed. It’s strong, holds seasoning, lays flat, the large handle stays cooler a gives better support, and liquids pour out at any side of the pan without a mess. 12/10

We use cast iron skillets everyday around here.

As a regular user of cast iron skillets some of which are over one hundred years old. Quality and functional are key elements in my choice of cast iron.ILiving meets most but time will render those of which only time can do.This iLiving 12" inch mirror skillet is beautiful. Not too heavy, yet may require effort for smaller hands than mine. Two pour spouts, two lift handles.Deep engraved iLiving logo on the bottom along with a solid heat ring around the edge to insure even heat distribution. It will almost be hard to bring myself to using it, is would make a wonderful award to a skillfully golden skillet cook.5-stars recommendation

I’m in love!

This is the best cast iron pan! I had been using another brand but it was heavy and unwieldy, and the curved sides limited the cooking surface. This pan is noticeably lighter, and I love the large, flat cooking area. It heats beautifully and works like a dream. I couldn’t be happier with it!

Not like the Japanese but it is still great!

My husband and I bought a Japanese cast iron pot and absolutely fell in love with it. However, they do not seem to offer other sized pans for purchase. I saw this on google and thought it would be a close cousin (so to speak) so bought one. It is not as lightweight as the Japanese pan, but it is much lighter than American Cast Iron. I grew up with the heavy ones and used them daily. After using this pan a couple of times, I was amazed at how well it cooks. Also I don't have to move the pan around to have it heat evenly. We are very happy with it!

Based on my experience with THIS pan, I'll likely buy a larger one like 14" or so,

My Skillet arrived today. I immediately washed it with soap and water and tried it very thoroughly. I then placed it on my induction stove and set temperature at 179 and I let it stay there for a few minutes. Then I put a small amount of Avocado Oil in it and smeared it all over the interior and let it stir at 179 degrees for another 5 minutes. One normally doesn't pre-heat THAT long but since it was just out of the box, I wanted it to be perfectly "seasoned". Then I raised the hear to 350 degrees and let it sit for 2 minutes before I dumped in 2 scrambled eggs. Perfection, nothing stuck. After serving the eggs I added some butter while the pan was still hot and I lowered temperature to around 250 degrees. I added some butter and shopped onion, peppers and Jalapeño and sautéd them for about 10 minutes. Then raised heat to 350 and added scrambled eggs. Again, nothing stuck.I have many "metal pans, stainless steel, titanium and Lodge Cast Iron. I know how to cook on a "metal" pan that has been properly pre-heated. This Pan looks great, clearly smooth and not rough and noticeably lighter weight than the Lodge pans of similar size. SO this will be my "go-to" morning pan.Based on my experience with THIS pan, I'll likely buy a larger one like 14" or so,Yes, I was very impressed and recommend this to someone that wants quality, even at a higher price than Lodge or similar. sales day helped a bit with the price.

My First Cast Iron skillet

This is skillet is pre-seasoned out of the box and it is quite smooth all around. This was my first Cast iron skillet and it is not as heavy as other cast iron skillets I have seen. Part of the reason I don't own one was the weight of these. This one is a game changer as it is lighter (still heavy) and it comes with a leather handle cover to easy handle the pan when hot. I made steak bites on this the other day and the searing was perfect on the steak bites and nothing stick to the pan.The size of 10" is also excellent to do most of the cooking and I think I have found my favorite skillet/pan to cook from now on. I just need to learn more about taking care of cast iron skillets to get the maximum life out of these.

Smooth surface inside and on the bottom

I believe Cooklife is the only cast iron skillet that is smooth on the inside of the pan and also on the bottom on the stove top side. It is also lighter than other cast iron skillets. For a long time I have looked for the perfect cast iron skillet for my my needs. I have a glass surface induction cooktop which is why I wanted the bottom of the pan to be smooth so it would not damage the cooktop surface. The smooth surface inside the pan avoids the problems of bits of food getting stuck in the crevices. Many other skillets had a smooth surface inside the pan but not at the bottom. Others had a raised lip at the bottom which would not allow it to fully come in contact with the induction cooktop. Then there were individuals who were smoothing out their rough skillets with drill driven scouring pads. For me this is the perfect skillet. Caring for cast iron is also easier than I thought.

Can't wait to use this thing!

I've been needing a new iron skillet for camping after my old one finally broke after 10 years. I'll be honest, this skillet seems nothing short of amazing! I can already tell this will last quite a while and make my camping experiences great! Oh, and I love the leather handle cover too!

Great for steaks

The skillet is perfect for steaks and gives a great crust on the steak. The pan is pretty decent quality for the price and is perfect for daily use. The heating is even and the handle cover is very useful.

perfect for the outdoors

I love this skillet! I find this to be absolutely perfect for the outdoors, whether taking a camping or just in the backyard fire. What in particular is really nice about this is it is a solid skillet, I'll also providing an easy little grip hold thing so that way you don't horrifically burn yourself when you take it off of the fire. It's little things like that that really stand out. Otherwise the quality and craftsmanship of this skill of this absolutely perfect.

Built to last--Could be an heirloom

Giftable and nicely done. Pleasantly surprised and worth the wait. It is packaged beautifully with care instructions, care kit, leather handle cover, and a brief cookbook with tasty recipes. I no longer have the cast iron skillet passed down from my grandmother’s hands. Holding this one, reminds me of her and brings back fond memories. Well-done Get it for yourself and/or the newlyweds. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Great cast iron skillet

This is a nice smaller cast iron skillet. It is very well make and comes in a nice package. The leather heat shield for the handle is a nice touch as well.

surprisingly light but has all the quality you expect from cast iron

I’ve been using the pan 12-inch cast iron skillet, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite pans. The polished surface is noticeably smoother than traditional cast iron, making it easier to season and less prone to food sticking. Its lighter weight makes it so much easier to handle compared to other cast iron pans I’ve used, without compromising on performance or the delicious flavor cast iron provides. The pre-seasoned surface saved me time, and cleaning is simple thanks to the polished finish. Plus, it’s reassuring to know it’s free from harmful chemicals. Overall, it’s a fantastic addition to my kitchen, and I’d highly recommend it for both new and seasoned cooks!

Love it!

Really nice cast iron! Love the leather handle and the box came with some care instructions too which was appreciated. Unlike the mainstream brand you can get from big box stores which has a rough seasoning layer, this one is super smooth. The sides are also just a hair taller than my lodge pans.Overall very impressed. It's a keeper and it's one that would make a great gift for someone.

10 inch skillet

This 10 inch cast iron skillet is everything! It's beautiful and smooth and lightweight, not as heavy as the older style pans like this. It comes with a cleaning kit, a recipe book, a handle cover and it's preseasoned. I showed this to my sister and she loved it so much she tried to take it...lol I would definitely recommend this pan.
