01 Why This Pan Performs Better The science behind a surface most pans never achieve

"Not every pan deserves a place on your stove. This one earns it."

Most cast iron is rough. Machine-cast, left unfinished, and sold with the expectation that you'll fix it yourself over years of use. REINCAST takes a different approach. Each skillet is hand-polished at the foundry — a process that removes surface porosity and creates a cooking plane that builds seasoning faster, releases food more cleanly, and improves with every use.

  • Hand-polished interior surface — eliminates the rough texture common to mass-produced cast iron, allowing seasoning layers to bond uniformly and build a natural, durable patina over time.
  • Pre-seasoned with 100% natural oil — no synthetic coatings, no chemical primers. The first seasoning layer is applied at high temperature before the pan leaves the foundry, arriving ready to cook.
  • Solid single-pour construction — no seams, no welds, no weak points. Cast as a single piece of iron, delivering structural integrity that clad cookware cannot match.
  • Improves with age — unlike coated pans that degrade, REINCAST develops a deeper, more resilient cooking surface the more it is used. A well-used skillet after ten years outperforms a new one.
02 Health & Safety What is not in this pan matters as much as what is

"No coatings. No compromise."

The modern cookware industry relies heavily on synthetic non-stick coatings — materials that, under heat stress, can degrade and release compounds into food and air. REINCAST contains none of them. The cooking surface is raw, polished iron. Nothing more.

  • Zero synthetic coatings — no PTFE, no PFOA, no ceramic sprays. What you cook on is pure iron, which has been used safely for centuries.
  • No chemical seasoning agents — the pre-seasoning is applied using a single food-grade natural oil, heat-bonded to the iron surface before it ships.
  • Trace iron enrichment — cooking with well-seasoned cast iron can contribute small, beneficial amounts of dietary iron to food — a quality no synthetic pan can offer.
  • Safe at any temperature — the pan will not off-gas, blister, or degrade under high heat. It is oven-safe without upper temperature limits.
03 Heat & Versatility One pan. Every heat source. Every technique.

"Heat that holds. Results you can taste."

Cast iron retains heat at a level that thinner pans physically cannot. Once REINCAST reaches temperature, it maintains an even, consistent cooking surface — whether you are searing at high heat or finishing low and slow. It moves from stove to oven without a second thought.

  • Exceptional heat retention — the mass of the iron holds temperature steady even when cold food hits the surface, preventing the temperature drops that cause steaming instead of searing.
  • Compatible with all heat sources — gas, electric, induction, ceramic, halogen, open flame, campfire, and oven. One pan for every environment.
  • Oven-safe without limit — no plastic handles, no synthetic coatings. REINCAST can be placed directly in a 500°F oven or under a broiler without risk.
  • Ideal for searing, baking, roasting, frying — the skillet performs equally across techniques, from a perfect crust on steak to a cast iron cornbread baked at the table.
04 Design & Control Considered in every detail. Effortless in every use.

"Precision is not an accident. It is a choice made at the foundry."

REINCAST is designed with the geometry of cooking in mind. The handle angle, the pour spout placement, the lip of the rim — each detail exists to reduce friction between cook and pan, allowing full attention on the food.

  • Dual pour spouts — positioned on opposite sides of the rim to allow clean, controlled pouring of fats and liquids in either direction without mess.
  • Ergonomic handle angle — cast at a precise upward angle for balanced lifting and a natural grip, reducing wrist strain during transfer from stove to oven.
  • Assist handle opposite — a secondary grip on the far side allows two-handed control when moving a full, heavy pan safely.
  • Flat, stable cooking base — precision-leveled at the foundry to ensure full contact with flat-top and induction surfaces, eliminating hot spots caused by warped pans.
  • 26 cm diameter — a versatile size for everyday cooking, large enough for a full meal and refined enough for precise technique.

06 Care Guide A few simple rituals. A lifetime of performance.

"Cast iron does not ask for much. What it asks for, it returns tenfold."

REINCAST is designed to simplify ownership. No special products required. No complicated routines. A few consistent habits after each use are all the pan will ever need.

  • After each use — rinse with warm water while still warm. Use a stiff brush or pan scraper to remove food residue. Avoid prolonged soaking.
  • Drying — dry thoroughly with a cloth immediately after rinsing, then place briefly over low heat on the stove to evaporate any remaining moisture.
  • Seasoning maintenance — apply a very thin layer of natural oil (flaxseed, grapeseed, or vegetable) to the interior surface while still warm. Wipe away excess until the surface appears matte, not wet.
  • Soap — a small amount of mild dish soap used occasionally will not harm a well-seasoned REINCAST. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive scrubbers.
  • Storage — store in a dry environment. If stacking with other cookware, place a cloth or paper towel between pans to protect the surface.
  • If rust appears — this is surface oxidation, not damage. Scrub with steel wool, rinse, dry fully, and re-season in a 450°F oven for one hour. The pan is restored.

Beautiful Cast Iron Pan

This is a beautiful pan. It’s lightweight compared to a standard cast iron skillet of this size. Lovely design on the bottom that makes me happy. Cooking performance is excellent. No issues with the factory seasoning. It’s an expensive pan, but it works well and makes me smile and think happy thoughts when I see it.

Really enjoying it a few weeks in...

I'm really enjoying it so far. As I have refined my technique from how I used to use traditional non-stick, I have liked it more and more. I won't be surprised if I add another size in the future. It really helps to do some very basic high level research on how to use these differently than traditional non-stick, i.e. cook temp, use of fats and basic seasoning.

Great skillet

I love this pan already. I have had it for only a few days, but I have used it multiple times. It has a super smooth finish. It is easy to clean. It stays hot. It heats evenly. I have fried vegetables, reheated leftovers, and made a roux. After I wash it with soapy water, I dry it, then wipe a light coat of oil on it.

My wife really likes it.

I purchased for my wife as she had seen either this or similar on America's Test Kitchen, I do not cook but she says it is far better than the older cast iron skillets she has and really likes it. She uses it on a glass top electric stove with no problems. It looks good as well, she seasoned it again before using for the first time and has so far had nothing stick. As a non cook I thought it was very expensive, but as the recipient of all the meals she cooks for me, I would have happily paid double. What does the cost really matter when it will outlast both of us, there are not many things you can buy that will last forever!, well at least both our lifetimes.

Refreshingly : As Advertised

Longtime fan of cast-iron but newer ones are not polished smoothly like my old Griswold.Needed to move to a smaller size and this brand has proved to be everything it promised to be.Nicely balanced. I like the helper 'tab' as well.

The Cast Iron Skillet you should own!

Excellent cast iron skillet, and a promotion from the Lodge version. When I purchased this skillet I also bought Lancaster's seasoning oil. Before using it I seasoned it 4 or 5 times in a 450 degree oven. After a few uses, I seasoned it several more times and it has now reached non-stick status. It's an excellent skillet for getting the perfect sear on your steak before finishing it in the oven, and it is wonderful for making such things as caramelised onions, and just all-around a good skillet. I had trouble getting the Lodge to be nonstick because the surface is not polished smooth as with the Lancaster.

An Upgrade Worth the Money

Very happy with this pan so far. It heats up faster and more evenly than my Lodge pans. It's much lighter than any cast iron I've used. The cooking surface is incredibly smooth. I've cooked steak, fish (no torn salmon skin!), veggies, and even eggs without any sticking woes. Some people have had issues seasoning the pan, but I've put a few layers of seasoning on it with no problems. If anything, I've found it easier to season than other pans. The factory seasoning came up way too easy (a steak pretty much stripped it down to metal), but the seasoning I put down myself is holding at least as well as it does on my Lodge.Overall, this pan is worth the extra money.

Received my frying pan! Everything is fine! Very fast delivery! It remains to be tested in operation and I hope it will serve for a long time!

It’s a very pretty pan, lightweight and sturdy, the only drawback is it’s very very hard to season.. much harder than any cast iron pan I’ve ever had

The very best cast iron skillet I've ever used

This is by far the best cast iron skillet available in my experience. I've used Lodge, Field, and Marquette Castings (oh, and a Finex I borrowed from a friend one time). This skillet is the absolute best of the bunch. It is the lightest, best design, non-stick right out of the box and performs the best. It has a wonderful factory seasoning and the best handle design in my opinion. It also cleans up the easiest of the group for me.If I could give it ten stars I would! Wish I'd purchased this skillet first.

Love!

Cooking with this pan is a dream. I've even used it over a camp fire several times now, where the heat distribution feature really shines. The pan sits at the side, just 1/2 over flames and embers, and still, everything was evenly cooked with only a few stirrings needed, and clean-up was a breeze. The lighter weight of this pan is a big plus for me. I have a tiny wrist (people have laughed at it; it's THAT tiny) but have no trouble getting this pan safely off the fire using just one hand. That's with a heavy glass lid on top and the pan 3/4 full. After having retired a couple of ceramic non-stick pans in the past year, I find that this cast iron pan delivers far superior results and is made to last for a lifetime. I won't go back to non-stick, no matter how tough and safe it's marketed to be, they all fail after a while and likely have a long list of chemicals in them, that have never even been (sufficiently) tested for health risks. And last but not least, I also want to mention that the pan arrived with a lovely handwritten note. It adds a nice touch and probably even some flavor as I treasure this pan and all that goes into it.

Great skillet

This skillet has proven it's worth repeatedly over the year I've had it. I got one of the earlier ones, with the mill grooves in it. Still smoother than most modern skillets, but much lighter. It heats really quickly, which is nice. Not really a fan of the handle, though. Too short, and it gets really hot.
